Since 1966 Louisenlund is a charter member of Round Square. The international association connects more than 80 member schools on five continents, all of them following the principles of Kurt Hahn and fostering common goals through student exchanges and international projects.

Every year about 30 students take advantage of the opportunity to attend partner schools and take part in international conferences and relief projects.

 

Our alumni association (Alt-Louisenlunder Bund or ALB) is a non-profit organization founded in 1961 by Louisenlund alumni. The ALB presently has more than 1,500 members, contributing to the Louisenlund scholarship and providing a network to maintain connections among students and alumni.

 

 

A large number of today’s students will practice professions that did not even exist at the time of their school career. As a consequence in a digital society, the ability to ask the right questions will be more valuable than the answers of today.

In the sense of integral education, for us teaching goes far beyond the “Abitur” or the IB.
