The success of our students can also be measured in figures. In the Abitur 2025, Louisenlund students achieved an average of 2.09 - significantly better than the state average of 2.46 in Schleswig-Holstein. Particularly impressive: the graduates of the plus STEM program even achieved an excellent average of 1.80.
Louisenlund also impresses in an international comparison: our IB graduates achieved an average of 32.0 points in 2025, while the global average was 30.6 points. In the previous year 2024, our students had already achieved excellent results with an Abitur average of 2.07 (plus STEM: 1.61) and an IB average of 32.4 points (worldwide: 30.3 points).
Modern pedagogy for individual development
Louisenlund stands for a pedagogy that puts every child at the center. Our aim is to promote individual talents and enable pupils to take responsibility for their own learning. To achieve this, we rely on:
- Small learning groups that enable personal attention
- Project-oriented learning in which pupils apply knowledge in practice
- Interdisciplinary approaches to understand interrelationships and think in a networked way
- Personal learning support and mentors who coach students individually
In this way, we create a learning culture in which curiosity, independence and enjoyment of learning can grow.
