The bright, open laboratory spaces at the plus-MINT Research Center are equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory technology. In addition to the extensive collections and the physics and chemistry labs, the S1 biotechnology lab is equipped with its own laminar flow hood (an S1 lab allows for work with microorganisms and biological materials at biosafety level 1, such as DNA isolation, PCR, or cloning). Students in the plus-MINT program have ample space for their own experimental setups and more complex experiments.
