Partners and cooperations

Louisenlund maintains close partnerships with various universities and institutions in order to offer pupils a wide range of educational opportunities. Through cooperation with universities, our young people can participate in early study programs that give them a first insight into academic challenges. We also work closely with the PMI Excellence Cluster and international educational organizations to provide our students with access to additional resources and experiences that will enhance their development and broaden their horizons.

NEASC stands for excellent education

The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) is a prestigious accrediting organization that ensures that schools maintain the highest standards of educational quality. Louisenlund is proud to be accredited by NEASC, which underscores the quality of our educational programs and the professionalism of our faculty. NEASC accreditation provides our students with the assurance that they will receive an excellent education that is internationally recognized and opens up many opportunities for them.

Universities (early studies) | PMI Excellence Cluster

Through our partnerships with universities and the PMI Excellence Cluster, we offer pupils the opportunity to take part in early study programs. These programs allow young people to gain initial experience in higher education before they graduate from high school. Pupils can take part in courses that help them to identify their interests and strengths. They also benefit from intensive preparation for their studies, which strengthens their academic skills and self-organization. By successfully completing these courses, students already collect credit points for their future studies.

Duke of Edinburgh Awards

The Duke of Edinburgh Program in Louisenlund offers students the opportunity to overcome personal challenges and develop their skills in various areas. Participants can demonstrate their talents in the categories of service, skills and adventure. Through this program, the young people not only strengthen their personalities, but also learn teamwork, independence and the importance of social commitment. The Duke of Edinburgh program strengthens the participants' self-confidence and promotes their personal development in a variety of ways.

LemaS

LemaS is an initiative that focuses on the development of learning strategies and methods. At Louisenlund, students are trained in how to effectively manage their learning processes and continuously evaluate their progress. The Lemas programs provide support and resources to help students improve their learning techniques and increase their academic performance. This initiative promotes not only academic success, but also the ability to self-reflect and take ownership of their learning.

Further information on the LemaS initiative can be found here on the website of the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Education.
