At home in Louisenlund - out and about in the world

Louisenlund’s field trip program focuses on personal development and character building within the group. While the younger grades in the junior division visit regional destinations, the older grades travel farther. For example, the 10th-grade class travels to Norway.

Exploring key topics on site - course trips in Louisenlund

At the end of Q1 (usually at the end of year 12), the profile courses go on their profile trip, which is considered a highlight in the Louisenlund school career. The destinations are chosen according to the profile and the thematic focus and take the students to Rome, for example, to follow in the footsteps of Roman history. The destinations are selected by the subject teacher and designed with a thematically appropriate program.

Regional and supra-regional - practical school experience

As part of the project-oriented subject lessons, excursions to relevant learning content take place in all subject areas. Whether on a theater trip in aesthetics or an excursion on the research ship "Kurt Hahn" in natural sciences, students experience school in a practical way and can apply and deepen the knowledge they have acquired on site.
